yesterday was my "hell day." it consisted of reading over 100 pages of the scarlet letter, studying for a crucible test, physics, history, math, yelling/ arguing, throwing my scarlet letter book against the wall, visualizing myself ripping out every page of the book.. and getting about 2 and 1/2 hours of sleep. but its over! yay! and i'm alive!!!

at school yesterday, my gym teacher gave me the period off cuz the freshman had to do some classroom work. so what did i do..? yeah thats right, i went to the band room. its the first and only place i thought to go

as far as today is concerned, for a girl running on as little sleep as me, i was quite awake. it was a pretty good day. i dont have all that much to do. i plan to go to the orchestra concert, i have to pack for the wedding in New York im going to this weekend since we're leaving right after school tomorrow, and ive gotta do some homework as usual. thats about it.

i dont wanna go to the wedding. i'm looking forward to seeing my cousins and that sort of thing, especially ashley and brooke who i rarely get to see nowadays, but its just not at a good time. i really wanted to go to the conant game to see all my band friends, and im very curious to see their show. a whole bunch of people asked me if i was going, and i dont know how many more times i wanna say "no" haha. ill just have to settle with stories when i get back. its gonna be tough to drive all the way to NY and back just to spend one day there, but oh well. its story time! ashley and i have a lot of cathing up to do

congrats to everyone that made NHS this year, and if you didnt make it, im really sorry. some of the people that werent accepted, definately should have been. im not sure i understand their logic when it comes to who gets in and who doesnt

and yet another quick topic change...
looks like im gonna be in the v-show afterall. im still shocked that steve quit jazz band, but as long as he doesnt come back, michelle is playing 1st tenor, eric is playing 2nd tenor, and im playing 2nd alto. thats at least whats going on as of today. but we all know how much miller changes his mind, so i dont know how long this arrangement will last. im looking forward to it, but at the same time, i wish steve would come back. he deserves to be in this band much more than i do
