a musician's tale
life through my eyes

imagine waking up in the morning to the sound of your own personal band. i was doing a bit of channel surfing a little while ago and came upon Coming to America. it's an eddie murphy movie. i'm not going to get into what the movie is about, but it's so interesting to see how many luxuries people of royal blood have. i can't even think about having someone do every little thing for me. in this movie, the character is awoken by a small orchestra that plays for him in his room. just imagine what that would be like. i would love it! i could tell them what song i'd like to be woken up to each morning. i'm not exactly sure where i would put this orchestra tho. the guy's room is, afterall, the size of my entire house. how would you feel about that tho? not being able to do anything for yourself that is. not brushing your teeth or dressing yourself or even going to the bathroom by yourself. some forms of pampering would be nice, but someone aiding me in using the restroom is just going too far.
