okay, i'm wayyyyyy behind here. i guess august is the month that life decides to hit you with a ton of bruise. it took me a while to recuperate from the blow. i've been keeping quite busy this month with saying my goodbyes, spending time with friends, school, extra activities like band, choir, nhs, student 2 student, etc, family stuff, my birthday (which was yesterday =)), and minimizing my procrastination. and that's just the stuff i can think of off hand. my favorite part of all of it is getting ready for these wonderful band and choir events. jazz choir, jazz band, marching band, choraliers, v-show, IMEA. wow. there's so much. and i'm writing a new song. i'm quite excited about that. it's a good tune with what should turn out to be a good melody. once i finish up the lyrics and figure out just how i want to tie it all together, it'll be cool. it'll be a good hobby for me. once i finish this paper that is..
ah school! so much to think about! but of all things, i prefer not to get in to school.
i'm really looking forward to septemberfest this weekend. there's so much that i want to do! i want to look at the crafts, see a concert, hang out at the carnival, hopefully play some more rockin outdoor sports with the gang, see a movie, watch the DCI finals, hang with visiting college buddies (and that college buddy that's a little closer to me than my buddies), and of course, shove in time for the parade, NHS telethon?, football game, and free time to just relax and see what wonderful random things happen next. wow, that seems like a lot for one little weekend. BRING IT ON! i'm so ready to exert myself to the extreme. sleep? ha! i'll sleep when it's over. there's too much to do now. who's with me??
