what a weekend! i've been keeping really busy, and having a good time in the process. i love keeping busy. it helps you relax in a way, since the things i've been busy with have been things that aren't stressful. yesterday morning started with SHARE. it wasn't too bad. i got 2 and a half hours in. not bad at all. i taught evan, played piano, helped out with trish and eamonn, had a few interesting discussions with paul over music theory.. it was cool. after that, me and vinnie went to borders and barnes and nobles to find our english books. both of us went shopping for ourselves and our partners, but they only had one copy of each book. that's okay, we'll work it out. i'm reading Rhinoceros with jen; vinnie's reading Endgame with dg. hooray for obserd comical plays! woot woot!
once vinnie and i were done shopping, we went to eat at steak n' shake. i've never had one of those burgers before. it was realllly good! mmmm. and a strawberry bannana shake. excellent lunch. we saw jill there too! she was our waitress. i was really happy to see her... but vinnie and i both felt bad because she was taking our orders. we wanted to ask if we could help, haha. i need to hang out with jill more. sharon too. all of my conant buddies in fact. good times.
got home, talked to andrew for a few minutes, and then i went to lifetime to go rock climbing with some of my conant buddies. kinda ironic that i was thinking about needing to hang out with everyone more often, and then i saw them! i love rock climbing. i didn't do too bad considering i hadn't rock climbed in about 5 years. it made me realize how much i like it, and how much i miss it. i want to go again some time.
i met this kid adam there- awesome guy. he's one of the few and proud people that know about Dane Cook!! well, i should rephrase that. he's one of the few and proud kids that knew about dane cook before someone like dan k (the founder) or myself telling the person about the wonders of dane. it was awesome! i was so excited to meet another dane cook lover. brilliant man. in fact, andrew just sent me the link to his journal:
Dane Cook's blog
Dane Cook's website
i highly recommend checking them out!
i'm going to have some hillarious memories from lifetime for a verrry long time to come.
first impressions are funny.

i also saw the incredibles yesterday. good movie. it was cute and funny- i'm such a sucker for disney pixar. saw some amazing previews too! there are some great movies coming out!! yay pixar!! seeing something like that gives me the strong urge to go watch some disney movies. some of the old classics with the subliminal messages and other stuff like finding nemo.
after the movie, me, vinnie, jen w, jim o, d, emily, dan k, and pati went to the park by pati's house to look at the stars. we laid out blankets and stared at them. it was so cool!! and we found this weird cluser of stars.. it was a clear, gorgeous night. you could see everything. while everyone was huddling under the blankets since they got cold, me and jim went for a walk and talked about stuff. i love feeling apprecited. thanks for the talk jim! you're the greatest! vinnie took some crazy pictures. some of which are really freaky! if you ever think of it, ask vinnie to show you the pictures on his phone that he took at the park. you'll love it.
after all that, it was back to my house. we watched some snl. the best of tom hanks was on. it was good stuff. i was sooo tired after my night was over. it seemed to last forever, but it was great =)

today i'm not planning on doing much. i've got quartet practice at 6. other than that, i'm gonna sit online talking to people. maybe i'll throw some homework into that mix. sounds good to me. a nice, relaxing day after an eventful saturday. hope everyone's weekend was good. leave comments, i like them.

There's a place off Ocean Avenue
Where I used to sit and talk with you
We were both 16 and it felt so right
Sleeping all day, staying up all night
Staying up all night
