they don't have a hot pink text color on my blog. strange.

today was average. i can leave it at that. sectionals, classes, music, friends.. nothing out of the ordinary. i did have quite an interesting conversation with miller and tipps today about IMEA. mr. tipps really likes the professor from michigan that conducted the choir. he took a class with him once and had all kinds of stories to tell me. we talked about the guys methods, skill, use of analogies... but i can't remember his name. kinda ironic.

i had a good weekend i think. spent some good quality time with andrew. spent some good time with my friends. it was nice. IMEA rocked!! the rehersal was a workout, but it was worth it. i was so proud to be part of the concert. my parents, grandparents, and friends all came to see us perform. i couldn't stop smiling when i saw that everyone came. i knew my family and andrew would be there; i was glad to see vinnie, pat, graffeo, eamonn, and elyse there too. it was great to know that the shs kids had lots of support from their peers.
enough of that.

jazz band can always get me in a good mood. it's so fun. we're playing for the district 54 jazz band on wednesday, and i get to play my flute in Samba! i'm excited!! ahh jazz band. puts a smile on my face. just like all my friends. vinnie kindly drove me home tonight, and we sat in his car and talked for a while. it was really nice. great guy, that vinnie. he's the best. we've been friends for a while, but i never knew we had so much in common in so many different aspects of our lives. i've been discovering all these new connections with people this year. i've got new stuff in common with vinnie and pat.. jim and i connect on a lot of things. i love all the new friends i'm making. and the old ones i'm reaquainting myself with.

enough i say! enough of this sentimental crap! sometimes i've gotta yell at myself to get the point through. i'm just kinda confused right now. i've gotta straighten out some things in my life. inflict the spring cleaning effect on myself. go for more walks, spend more time with my friends and getting into these wonderful talks that i've been getting into that lead to extremely fun situations, being more productive.. stuff like that. it'll be great. i just gotta make it work. i think. :-D
