there is no greater feeling than the feeling one gets from being awoken in the morning by a screaming mother.
..... uh.... disregard that last statement.

today was rather eventful. i got to spend a lot of time with some friends from conant. i went to the mall with adam in the mid-afternoon, (after meeting his family), where we met up with tim. i bought two shirts from holister (on sale!) and a smoothie i had never tried before: pineapple peach. twas yummy, but it's no strawberry banana. mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm! but i digress...

we went into some cool stores, got some stuff accomplished, and bravely battled the kar-azy sale hunters that spend the entire day after christmas shopping. the people were nuts; the parking was INSANE! at any rate, i had a good time. afterwards, we swung by lifetime for a bit to do some rock climbing, and tim took me home.

tonight, i felt very hungry, so i decided to make a run to taco bell and pick up a chicken quesadilla. i was talking to aaron at the time, so i told him i was making a food run to taco bell and would be back soon. just before i left, he half-jokingly asked if i'd bring him a burrito. he was babysitting his nephew jayden at the time, so i said i'd do it. i got directions, got the food, and made a trip woj's uncle's apartment in palatine. i didn't get to stay long since i had trouble finding the place, got stuck in the drive thru for 20 minutes!, and had to be home by midnight. nevertheless, it was a lot of fun. aaron really appreciated it, and i really liked driving out there. seeing cute little jayden (who is 2 years old) and a smile on woj's face for the effort was well worth the trip. hopefully i can do something like that again sometime. i just hope i can hang out longer than 5 minutes =)
