well i try and try to forget you girl
but it's just so hard to do
every time you do that thing you do

great movie. i was watching it today. i wish we owned it. maybe i can put it on my non-existent christmas list. well, i suppose that's not true. i do have a christmas list, only it's for other people. i made a huge list of everyone that i want to get gifts for this christmas. if i stick to it like i want to, i'll be broke when the holidays end. i don't know what i want to get people, i only know that i want to get them something. if you have any requests or cool things on your x-mas list, let me know! i wanna hear what everyone's asking for this year.

i woke up at 630 and got out of bed at 7 this morning to get ready for WACO. it was quite a long day. WACO was really fun, i loved helping out. the little boy i took around the store was named brandon. i really liked him. vinnie came along too. we had a good time with him. really nice boy. he was always thinking of his family. for a child, he was being really cheritable. i wish we could have gotten more for his family. when you're buying toys and stuff for 6 kids, $75 doesn't go a long way. that doesn't even cover the parents. brandon's parents didn't ask for anything, but we got them something anyway.
a few memorable moments: the disappearing sucker, the red juice on vinnie's shirt and pants, the broken sunglasses, the spot on my knee, vinnie holding brandon's hand, the picture, the jacket i couldn't close, the crash course in spanish, and the little look brandon gave us when he got on the bus to go back home. it was all very heartwarming.

after that, vinnie and i made some runs to our houses, went to richard walker's to eat, and proceeded to SHARE for 3 hours. while we were teaching trisha some music theory, there was an awesome pianist playing in the background. i look over at vinnie and say "whoever's playing the piano in there sounds like pat." that's when vinnie informed me that it was pat. he's taking music composition with one of the guys there. i had no idea. i thought it was funny and cool that i could recognize pat's playing.

i spent this saturday night at home, just like last saturday. didn't matter much tho. i took a nap from about 8 to 1030 out of sheer exhaustion. i wouldn't have minded a phone call to wake me up tho, since i haven't felt sleepy until now. mmmmmm... sleeeeep.

last night i hung out with jim. he brought It's a Wonderful Life over. it was really good! i'd never seen it before. it wasn't what i was expecting. i was really missing out. thanks jim! i owe you one.

speaking of owing people, i owe vinnie money. somebody try to randomly remind me so i pay him. it's in my jacket pocket, but i know i'll forget. just like how i almost forgot i have a bunch of homework and quartet practice tomorrow.

well, my pillow awaits me.
th-th-th-that's all folks.

we're looking up at the same night sky.
